Only contemporary art guide in Rome

I've been often told that Rome is overwhelming. Yes, I have to admit the beauty of Rome can easily overwhelm — with all its layers of history, different eras coexisting side by side, amazing works of art, grand monuments and stories waiting to be told.

But if you live Rome the way I do — as a constant surprise, around every corner, every single day — you soon realise that three thousand years of history can be experienced as one infinite present moment. Nothing here should intimidate. Everything here wants to be understood.

My aim is to take care of you on each tour from start to finish: planning only the best for you, listening to what you want, and showing you a Rome that is genuinely, permanently yours.

Built on rigour.
Driven by passion.

Valentina holds a Master's degree in Art History — awarded with honours — from the University of Rome. Her academic focus on modern and contemporary art led her first into Rome's gallery circuit, working with collectors, dealers and international institutions. That double training — academic depth and market fluency — is the foundation every tour she designs is built on.

In 2011, the City of Rome granted her the official guide licence. Rather than limiting herself to the classical circuits all other guides follow, Valentina identified a gap — and chose to fill it: exclusive contemporary art experiences, alongside the finest private tours of ancient and baroque Rome, for discerning travellers who refuse to settle for the ordinary.

The only guide in Rome
doing this.

When Valentina realised that every other guide in Rome was offering the same classical itineraries, she made a different choice. Drawing on years inside the modern art world — galleries, collectors, international dealers — she designed a series of contemporary Rome experiences that had never existed before.

MAXXI and beyond: young galleries, foreign academies, artists working in the city today. A Rome that is still alive and still creating — for the traveller who wants more than ruins.
